Hi Guys! You run a tidy web site! I can see that you have spent many hours keying in all that info. Great Job!

Perth, WA Australia -

G'day fellas, caught your site as i was checking around, very well put together, a lot of time and effort has gone into this web site. I liked the trip reports and any thing to do with travel in the North West, a few nice fishing/camping spots wouldnt go amiss. And get the for sale /wanted page finished, you only need four hours sleep and one meal break a day! get to it!!

Your site is excellent. The techniques section is the best, most accurate, practical and most concise exposition on 4x4 driving I have seen. I run a small fleet (8) 4WDs as part of my job and the next best thing my team will get to the training courses they have attended will be the information you have put on your site. It is particularly relevant to NZ (and I guess Oz) with its emphasis on sand, mud and hills, the things we most often face, as compared with most Yank sites which usually focus on rock crawling. Thanks a lot.

I stumbled on your site while looking for places to go 4-wheeling in the South-West. Fantastic !
I also had a read of your driving tips and will now tackle the dunes at Lancelin with much better confidence.

Hi, I’m a new 4WD enthuiast, having used them for years growing up on a farm - but its not quite the same :)
Anyway I just wanted to thank you for an EXCELLENT site. It is well presented, well structured, EXTREMELY informative and its helped me out alot. I’ve spent a good half a day reading all the articles and techniques, and had a good laugh as well at some of the pictures etc.
Again, I am very impressed and thank you for such a wonderful site - consider me a regular visitor.
Maybe I might see some of you on the tracks around Perth one day.Goodluck and keep up the GREAT work.

Have to improve search ability I have looked long and hard at 4WD and by fluke I findthis site with such low hit levels to be the best site yet.

A very well put together site, I enjoyed it. You deserve more visitors, but I’m sure they’ll come. Keep up the good work!

I do not own a 4 X 4 but may buy a Safari 4.2 Turbo soon ( I hope to find one in my price-range ) . I downloaded some of your photos, but once enlarged they are not viewable due to distortion. It would be good if the photos were able to go to full screen without too much distortion. Other than that I think it is a very good site with plenty of options. PS NZ looks very boring compared to some of the photos
We are limited by our file space, hence the 500 pixel photo size.

Was pleased to find this site, via a rather devious trail, and found it interesting, however am not sure if it is still maintained as articles, show information etc relate to last year. Is it still active ? (YES -it is)
Other than the above found it a useful and informative site.

The info in Techniques is great stuff. I hope more 4WDers take the time to have a look. Looking forward to the sections under construction. Really heartening to see this sort of stuff coming from Sandgroper Country. Keep up the good work.

Great page. Really enjoyed the tech stuff. Can't believe you guys misspelled tire all over the place.
Too bad y'all can't get Early Ford Broncos down under, but I did enjoy seeing y'all rigs in action. Feel free to check out my site at www.lonestar-ebc.com. Have a great day.

Hi guys and thanks for the info on the D'Entraneaux National Park that we have just travelled from Augusta-Black Point, Windy harbour - Yagerup Dunes. Sorry about the spelling. We took the details from yor site and apart from a couple of errors and the milage being alittle out the dircetions were great. If anyone is interested in knowing about some more deatils of this area please e-mail me. Thanks to the editor, it made our trip this Christmas hassle free.

I liked the website, particularly the mud pictures. Looks like you have some good spots in WA. You do need more pics of water crossings, and of Patrols. Here is one of my MQ on Moreton Island.

Anyone looking for information whether they be Novices or very experienced 4WDers will always find something on the 4WD Encounter web site to interest them. I found it to be very comprehensive and useful. We will utilize as much information as possible for our 4WD club, West Coast 4X4 Incorporated. Keep up the brilliant work fella's, well done.

A good site. It's about time we had something here to compliment the local 4wd mag. The east seems to forget we exist apart from the csr and colin kerrs articles. I am generally out and about all over the place as often as possible.

Guys, great site. I've found your various pages quite entertaining & informative, though I feel a bit out of the action over here in Queensland.I appreciate the sentiments expressed by people in a similar situation to me - big ideas but limited budget! Definitely a site I'll be adding to my 'favourites'

Hello all, Just wanted to say Great web site! All those pictures of cruisers that we can not get here in the states makes me just a bit sad. I will pass your site along to a few other US cruiser nuts, and I'll bet you get just a few more hits on your counters in the next few days. Good site... keep up the good work

Have just discovered your Internet Magazine while seeking Info on local Perth 4WD Clubs. It's great, keep up the good work.
Your track info and readers trips are tops. The more of that the better. A Classified section for readers to sell/buy gear would go down well.
I've just seen the "about us" section - again very interesting. More articles of a personal nature like that and the readers trips etc and you've got the makings of the best 4WD Mag available to Perth readers.Obviosly it takes a lot of time and effort and hopefully there will be a way of a dollar in it for you.Like I said it's great and I'll certainly visit your site regularly.

You guys have a very cool site. It was heartening to see Jackroo's in their natural environment. I have an 88 LWB, most of them around here never seem to see ANY dirt. If you don't mind, I am going to pass your address along a few more Isuzu boards. Enjoy
